i'm feeling really lazy to write anything... but here goes:
I came across this book whilst chating with my tutor. We were talking about creating imaginary worlds and places where odd things happen.
And that's what this book is all about.
Taking place in the 50s in a poor industrial city in the north of Italy, Marcovaldo tells the tale of a common working man and his family; his adventures and misadventures through the four seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Short stories that start in a casual regular way transform into a platform of extraordinary unexpected events.
It is a good starting point for letting one's imagination set free and explore creativity.
